Protective fencing and deer culling, to allow natural regeneration. Removal of exotic trees species. Fence removal

Scots pine, birch, aspen etc. Native pinewood specialists e.g. capercaillie

Species reintroductions

The Forestry Commission has no plans for any species reintroductions. Glen Affric is within the 900 square mile area in which Trees for Life advocate beaver and lynx in the short-term, and bear, wolf etc in the long term
